6 and 12 week hire contracts: Payment is by direct credit to Nominated Bank Account fortnightly in advance. If not paid at close of business on or before day due, the nominated Credit card on Contract will be debited.
No new 12 week contracts taken between 15 September and 15 January in any year. If you have a contracted van already, you will be able to renew it over this period.No New 6 week contracts taken between 27 October and 31 January in any year. No renewals accepted in this period.

DELIVERY and PICKUP: We can deliver and pick at a site of your choice. Your delivery and pickup fee is payable up front. Our depot is located at 3 Lindsay Rd Lonsdale Adelaide South. Some delivery destinations and their charges are listed at the bottom of this page. Site must be sealed surface and accessable without causing damage to van, or representing a safety concern. If you have any doubts about your site, please email through pictures and further information prior to booking. If our driver deems the site unsuitable for whatever reason, your van will not be delivered and no refunds will be forthcoming unless the van can be re-hired for the period you have booked. If undeliverable, no refund on the delivery and pickup fee will be forthcoming.

VAN OPTIONS AND FACILITIES: We rent a van, we do not set up and repack. This is the hirer's responsibility. An information brochure is provided with all vans to assist you where required.We do not offer training on how to use the vans facilities and its up to the hirer to educate themselves on the appropriate use of the Van. UTube is often very informative or other Caravan Park tenants are usually happy to help. Our drivers will deliver the Van to the Site of your choice in the case of "SELF DRIVE" and it is up to the hirer to set it up and pack ready for pickup at hire end. RELOCATION: If you wish to change site while you have one of our vans, we can do that for you. Price is the same charge as delivery/pickup charge. Please give us as much notice as possible
CHARGES: To calculate your delivery and pickup charge, you can use google maps. "Get Directions" and add the address of the site you wish your Caravan delivered and collected from. Alternatively, just complete one of our quote forms, and we can provide you with a complete quote within 1 - 4 hours.
Fees Minimum Delivery/Pickup charge $110. $65 + $3 per km up to 25 kms from Lonsdale Depot
$121 + $4 per km 25 - 100kms from Lonsdale depot.
Remote areas $250 + $2 per km 100 kms from Lonsdale Depot.
Surcharges: Unsealed Roads $4 per km surcharge. Over 500 kms additional $65 per 500kms
HIRE PERIOD: 1 Days Hire = 24 hours. 25% of the daily rate will apply per hour over this time up until 4 hours, when daily rate will apply.

(DEBIT CARDS NOT ACCEPTABLE. This means a Card that has "DEBIT" writtten on the face of it.): We do require a Refundable CREDIT CARD deposit for all of our hires. This is required to be debited in cleared funds before dispatch to the destination. Credit Card holders, have been through a "CREDIT CHECK" process to hold a credit card. This is the reason for our Strict requirement. The amount varies depending on the Unit required. Amount is listed at each Caravan and Motorhome. CARDS ACCEPTED Visa and Mastercard.
American express is not accceptable
The original credit card holder must be present along with their Photo ID and Credit Card before dispatch or at delivery to sign the original HIre Agreement. This can be done electronically if you have the ability. ( Not available for rentals of 6 or more weeks or multiple units. Personally signed docs required)You will need to be able to print , scan and email documents in PDF format, not phone screen shots or photos. If you do not have a Credit Card, a freind or family member can complete this on your behalf, however they will be responsible for your rental in the event of default,damage and or loss. We do not accept Deposits in cash, debit card, housing SA or any other form.

Pay your Delivery and Pickup Charge, Refundable Credit Card Deposit and your first two weeks rent in advance.
Future payments can be made each fortnight to Bank Account direct. Our Long term contract holders are given priority and you may renew your contract with written notice not less then 14 days prior to contract end. Caravans listed as "Not Available" are usually out on a long term hire contract and will not be made available for forward bookings prior to current contract end. Keep checking the "Availablility status" as this will be updated when they are available for hire again.
PETS: No problem, we know your pets are like family and we have no problem with them, as long as the van is returned to depot the same condition it was delivered.
BOOKINGS: To book the van you want, you are required to pay a non refundable deposit of 20% ( Not less than $100 )of the rental at point of booking, with the balance payable no less than 14 days prior to booked time/date, or 1 calendar month prior to pickup/dispatch date if booking is over a "PEAK PERIOD". This is non refundable in the event of a cancellation. If final payment is not paid by due date, your booking is cancelled and re-offered for hire. However in some cases we can switch your booking to another van or time. As we give a preference to long term bookings, and multiple group bookings, if you see a suitable van available for the time you want it, book it at that time to avoid disappointment.
CHRISTMAS/NEW YEARS WEEK BOOKINGS Premium Vans only. : If booking for a period which includes Christmas or New Years Day, A minimum Hire charge of 14 days is required. This is a minimum charge for bookings for a period of 1 - 14 days You may book for a period of less than 14 days, but the charge will be the same.. Bookings of less than 14 days will only be taken from the 1 December for any remaining vans. Priority is given to bookings of longer terms.
PICK UP AND DELIVERY TIMES: Monday to Friday .You will be asked to choose Morning between 10am and 1pm or Afternoon between 1pm and 4pm.
Exceptions: Caravan Parks Delivery after 1pm in the afternoon with Collection between 8.30am and 10am on the day due. Some locations over 25kms from depot, may have special times allocated. You will be advised.
SMS: notification will be sent approximately 30 mins prior to delivery or collection.
SATURDAY SURCHARGE $55 this is payable upfront, for deliveries or collections on Saturdays
SUNDAY/PUBLIC HOLIDAY SURCHARGE: $110 this is payable upfront for deliveries or collections on Sunday or public holidays. Please be advised that a collection or return before 12pm on these days cannot be guaranteed in advance. Days before and after public hoilidays may also be subject to change of pickup and/or return time at the discredtion of Pennywise Rentals. Where possible, we will stick to your preferred times
SELF DRIVE PICK UP and RETURN TIMES: Subject to Booking between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Surcharges will apply after these hours. Please be advised that your booked time for pickup and or return is important. You are required to be punctual. An attended will keep your booked time open for 30mins. After this time a "NO SHOW FEE" of $55 will apply and you will need to re-book an alternative time suitable to the attendant. You will be charged this fee if you ring within 30 mins of your pickup/return time to make an amendment .Daily rates fee scales will apply to late returns/pickups. Please be considerate as your tardiness will effect all other clients not only you. This fee will also apply if you cannot meet the requirements of hire at collection time or your book out takes longer than 30mins for any reason caused by the customer.
CREDIT/DEBIT CARD fees: For all payments including refundable deposit, a 2.2% fee which is equivalent to the fee charged by our bank to process your payment, will be added to your invoice.
CLEANING: At return to depot, we check our vans throughout. They must be presentable for the next hirer. If you leave rubbish or any items behind they will need to be disposed of. If any or all of the van requires cleaning, this will need to be completed before it can be re-hired. We use our own cleaners to clean your Van after return. This fee will be deducted from your deposit. To avoid these charges, please clean thoroughly and remove rubbish and items at the conclusion of your hire.
DAMAGE AND INSURANCE: We do not offer Insurance on caravan when it is onsite.The Caravan, its contents, fixtures and fittings will be at the risk of the hirer from the time of delivery until it is collected. The hirer is advised to have their own adequate insurance to cover any issues, even those that may have occured by a third party. If there is any damage evident at delivery , not advised by the company, you are required to notify the company in writing and include any supporting evidence at that time. The hirer is advised to keep the caravan secure at all times until collected by our drivers.
DEPOSIT REFUND: You can expect your deposit to be refunded to the Credit Card of origin within 14 days. Refunds are processed once a week. Public Holidays and Weekends excluded. There may be delays if your rental is returned in a less than satisfactory conditon or there are issues.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
BEFORE YOU PROCEED WITH YOUR BOOKING PAYMENT PLEASE BE ADVISED, You are not entitled to a refund if you simply change your mind, make a wrong choice, or do not read all the information clearly provided on our website. In the event that you cannot proceed with your rental as booked, please advise the company as soon as possible in writing. If we can re-allocate your booking to another client, your loss will be limited to the loss incurred by the company including any Cancellation fee. If the Caravan is not re-hired, no refund in whole or part will be forthcoming.Your refund will be credited back to your credit card, or a cheque sent through the post. Please be advised that your request will need to be in writing for it to be accepted. We are not responsible for third party losses like accomodation,event flight or other transport or similar cancellations or postponements, and you are not entitled to a refund in any of these events email to firstname.lastname@example.org
TO CANCEL YOUR BOOKING: Information required in the notification are:1) Name and address of person who booked vehicle. 2) Date booking was made 3) Date of notification 4) Reason for cancellation.5) Copy of your photographic Drivers Licence to confirm your identity.

In some cases the company may issue a discretionary refund. You will need to apply in writing for this and provide proof why the rental could not be undertaken. Not all applications will be granted.
